Rules and Regulations 

Student Housing 

 

1. Student Residency Eligibility: Only full-time enrolled students are eligible to reside in the student housing section of the complex floors 2-5. Students must provide proof of enrollment and meet any other eligibility requirements.

 

2. Occupancy Limits: Each room has a maximum occupancy limit of one person per room. Residents are not permitted to exceed this limit at any time.

 

3. Room Assignments: Room assignments are subject to availability.

 

4. Guest Policy: Residents are allowed to have guests, but there are limitations on the duration and frequency of guest visits. Residents are responsible for the behavior of their guests and must accompany them at all times while on the premises.

 

5. Quiet Hours: Specific quiet hours must be observed to ensure a suitable environment for studying and rest. During quiet hours, excessive noise, loud music, and disruptive behavior are not allowed.

 

6. Safety and Security: Residents are expected to adhere to all safety and security guidelines, including proper use of locks, reporting of any damages or security concerns, and adherence to fire safety regulations.

 

7. Maintenance and Cleanliness: Residents are responsible for keeping their living spaces clean and orderly. Regular inspections may be conducted, and residents are expected to promptly report any maintenance issues.

 

8. Prohibited Items: Certain items, such as candles, incense, and certain appliances, may be prohibited due to safety or fire hazards. Residents are expected to comply with these restrictions.

 

9. Alcohol and Substance Use

  1. Legal Drinking Age: Residents and guests should adhere to the legal drinking age as defined by local laws.

  2. Responsible Consumption:Residents and their guests should consume alcohol and substances responsibly and respectfully, without causing disturbance to other residents.

  3. No underage consumption:It should be explicitly stated that underage drinking and substance abuse is prohibited within the premises.

  4. No Public Intoxication: The apartment complex prohibits public intoxication within the shared areas of the building such as hallways, common rooms, or outdoor spaces.

  5. No illegal Substances: Prohibition of illegal drug use, possession, or distribution within the premises.

  6. Quiet Hours: Implementing specific quiet hours during which residents are expected to keep noise levels to a minimum to prevent disturbances related to alcohol or substance abuse.

  7. Consequences of Violations: Violating any of these rules defined by landlord may include warnings, fines, or even eviction for repeated or severe infractions.

 

10. Community Standards: Residents are expected to respect the rights and privacy of their neighbors, and to conduct themselves in a manner that is considerate and respectful of others.

11. Pet Policy

  1. Pet Policy: Pets are not permitted within the student housing section of the property.

  2. Prohibited Animals: No animals, including but not limited to dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rodents, and fish tanks, are allowed within the student housing premises.

  3. Exceptions: Exceptions to this policy will not be granted, regardless of the type, size, or temperament of the animal.

  4. Enforcement: Violation of this pet policy may result in disciplinary action, including fines and possible termination of the lease agreement.

  5. Assistance Animals: Students who require the assistance of a service animal or emotional support animal due to a disability should contact the housing management office to discuss accommodation options.

  6. Acknowledgment: By signing the lease agreement for the student housing, tenants acknowledge and agree to adhere to the pet policy outlined above.

 

11. Consequences of Violations: Consequences for violating housing rules and regulations include warnings, fines, and potential eviction.
